Prabal Thapa Architects is an architectural firm based in Nepal.

Established almost two decades ago, the firm has completed a range of architectural projects, including the renovation of historic buildings and the design of residential, commercial, and institutional buildings.

PTA strives to incorporate sustainable design solutions into all projects, offering energy-efficient and cost-effective solutions for our clients. Placement and orientation of the building into the terrain, optimised construction techniques, and the selection of appropriate construction material form a key part of the planning process. PTA incorporates passive solar design principles to ensure the building operates with minimum energy requirements.

Wastewater management, rainwater separation, solid waste solutions, landscaping for microclimate management, and biogas plants as alternative energy sources are usually an integral part of the PTA design package.
